I just finished cleaning up with some thinner and there's a reporter at the gate. She's from a local newspaper and checks in from time to time.

Busy getting wheels sorted.

Getting the industrial coating off with paint stripper.

One of my first sponsors was Schaeffler Bearings.

Peter was cool and really looked after me.
I should have stayed in touch more but you get busy and unless you need product and they don't ask you carry on.
Bad mistake.

I called Schaeffler SA and the lady says the company left the country.
It must be me??.
3M, a few others and now Schaeffler!!!.
Long story short I find out Bearing Corporation took over the brand so I emailed and this woman just cut me off.
A few months later I decided to call. Got hold of the director Moe and we got a deal. He airfreighted spherical bearings from Germany
and they delivered yesterday. I'm covered. Thank you Moe.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Redid my headers (to a degree).

I asked Turnstar to laser cut some plates to fit my pipe spacing at 10mm.
It turned out great.

I had to tack half rounds from the header to the collector on the liner.
Back to the foot pedal and I think it needs a foot strap.
This is annoying but it worked out.

I got the headers out and clamped them in the Triton Jaws to weld.
The Australians made one mean vise!!!. I have abused this thing from day one because I thought it was junk.
I was wrong and now I can't do without it.

I'll get the fill plates tomorrow because Friday was a bad day. Everyone closed early for the long weekend.

Again, I spent 10 years getting the runaround by "sponsors".
You swallow pride and wait.

Turnstar changed everything. You'd have to pay 5 or 6 different companies to get what Turnstar does for me and you'll probably wait too.
Just before the long weekend Christo revised the wheel stickers. First thing this morning he sends a message that all is ready for collection.
You're thinking why is this guy from Africa worrying about stickers at this stage?. Because I can. I have that luxury now.
